DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our MPSI team, your duties will include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Project Management – Topographic Surveys;
  • Coordination of our many MTO projects;
  • Coordination of scheduling of field crews and drafters/calculators with OLS’s;
  • CAD & calculation tasks, as required;
  • Assisting OLS’s with various tasks, as needed;
  • Preparing field packages;
  • Assisting with proposal preparation;
  • Monitoring and maintaining file compliance to MP standards; and
  • Project closeout  

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • College diploma or University degree in a Science or Engineering discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience;
  • Knowledge of surveying and AutoCAD;
  • Experience in a legal surveying firm would be an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with clients and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated project management skills including the ability track schedules, manage timelines, budgets and resolve issues in a timely manner;
  • Knowledge of engineering practice, processes, ethics and management;
  • Some understanding of survey practices, standards and laws is an asset; and
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
