As a member of our Facility Assessment and Restoration group, you will be working with multi-disciplinary teams on various projects. We offer flexible working environment.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing condition assessment services and developing repair design strategies for industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional buildings;
  • Conducting on-site review and documentation primarily of mechanical systems, plumbing equipment, and electrical systems and secondarily of site work, structural framing, building envelope, conveying equipment, and interior finishes;
  • Providing input, as required, on project execution strategies from the perspective of overall efficiency, creativity, and technical acumen;
  • Consulting on apparent life-cycle, remaining life, and probable repair or replacement strategies;
  • Developing Class D, order-of-magnitude, cost estimates for correction of the observed conditions and proposed strategies;
  • Formulating cash flow scenarios related to short-, medium-, and long-term repair and replacement needs;
  • Drafting reports and communicating the results to the client, including meetings with clients as needed;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


  • Recent full-time employment related architectural or engineering experience, preferably with M&E experience;
  • Completion of post-secondary education (college or university) in:  civil or structural engineering, building or architectural science, mechanical engineering, or an applied science;
  • PEO, OAA, OACETT, AATO, CIQS, or AIC accredited members or eligible for designation;
  • Detailed construction systems and assembly knowledge;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building envelope systems;
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to find positive solutions to complex and sensitive issues;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a complex and growing organization;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make quick decisions as required;
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite;
  • Must have a valid G driver’s license, insurance, and be willing to travel across Canada.
