As a member of our Geosciences group, you will be working with multi-disciplinary teams on various projects.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Hydrogeological testing;
  • Pumping tests and infiltration testing;
  • Preparation of EASR and PTTW applications;
  • Phase I / II ESAs;
  • Site remediations;
  • Environmental monitoring at waste disposal sites, lagoons, former mine sites, etc.;
  • Air quality monitoring;
  • Occasional fieldwork supporting other MP groups (natural sciences, land development, environmental engineering, others); and
  • Data analysis and reporting pertaining to the above duties.


  • Graduate from a university or college program in Environmental Science, Geology, Earth Sciences, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years demonstrated experience in ESAs and/or hydrogeological investigations;
  • Ability to travel throughout Ontario and occasionally out-of-province for work assignments;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including full days in the field during winter months;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Experience with field techniques (e.g. site inspections, hydrogeological testing, etc.) considered an asset;
  • Experience with reporting and/or data analysis considered an asset;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
