As a member of our Mechanical & Electrical  team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assistance in concept design and creating detailed designs for mechanical building systems projects of a different scale.
  • Providing technical and administrative support through all phases of the projects for retrofit and new construction – design, tendering and contract administration.
  • Understanding pertinent codes and standards.
  • Conducting heat gain-heat loss calculations with HAP.
  • Ability to learn calculations techniques as required.
  • Performing drafting assignments (plans, sections, elevations, details) utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Graphical translation of verbal and written instructions into working drawings as required.
  • Preparing specifications as required.
  • Working with project team to ensure on-time project completion.
  • Preparing reports as required.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and other relevant documentation by other consultants for third party installations review.
  • Balancing multiple projects of varied size and complexity with multiple deliverables.
  • Carrying out common duties in striving to ensure quality and timely delivery of finished products to clients.



  • Post-secondary degree in mechanical design.
  • Minimum 5 years of Canadian experience.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of PDF Xchange Editor.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for installation of HVAC, plumbing and drainage and fire protection systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Qualified candidates must be able to converse with the project team clearly and concisely, both internally and externally.
  • Organization skills including maintenance of paper and electronic files.
