DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


In this position, you'll be working virtually from anywhere in Canada. As a member of our Information Management & Information Technology team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Directly support approximately 600+ users of the Deltek Vision ERP system;
  • Become the subject matter expert and leader on all things Vision for McIntosh Perry;
  • Be the liaison between corporate IT and Deltek to support the enterprise ERP system in an integrated cloud environment;
  • Support operational changes and improvement projects with various internal teams;
  • Troubleshoot issues & log cases in the Deltek support center;
  • Perform Vision system administration duties;
  • Assist the finance organization with configuration change requests to Vision; and
  • Help users in daily system operations and processes through a Vision helpdesk mailbox. 


QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5 – 10 years experience in a similar role;
  • Expertise in configuring the Vision security roles for a multicompany, multi location environment;
  • Experience with System Admin tools including process queue, user activity, key conversions, data imports, report scheduling, search and replace, transaction locks;
  • Be familiar with Vision modules in a multicompany, multicurrency environment;
  • Have working knowledge of user-defined and approval work flows, as well as system and company alerts;
  • Solid understanding of the Vision reporting platform and calculated report fields;
  • Knowledge of configuring user defined fields and using the screen design tools;
  • Have experience configuring and using the Time & Expense mobile app for the IOS and Android platforms;
  • Be familiar with the Vision configuration screens;
  • Have a working knowledge or desire learn SQL and the Vision database tables (able to use ODBC connections to query tables for ad hoc reporting);
  • Knowledge of the new VanatgePoint version of the Vision product is an asset; and
  • Have general knowledge of mapping and documenting business processes and workflows.
