DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our Temporary Structures team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Using AutoCAD 2D and PDF Editor software, produce temporary structures plans, section, and elevations;
  • Make use of available CAD blocks or make new CAD blocks to produce slab shoring, forming, scaffolding and other temporary structures drawings;
  • Prioritize and deliver drawings in timely fashion;
  • Coordinate with clients and other engineers in completing requested revisions to the drawings and be responsive to urgent requests;
  • Open job files and organize the drawings in assigned folder; and
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a diploma/degree in Civil Engineering from a post-secondary institution;
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word and Excel);
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2D;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
  • Excellent collaboration, organization, time management skills as well as ability to multitask competing priorities;
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, have great attention to detail, be proactive and eager to be challenged; and
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
