Our current work environment is remote with staff working from home and completing all necessary field work. Our projects include locations in Southern/Central, South Western, Eastern and Norther GTA and will require physical on site presence to oversee assigned projects.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our Building Quality Assurance team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and perform on site window,  guard rail systems and membrane testing for new construction and existing buildings
  • Review and stay up to with testing standards and procedures
  • Provide assistance to the team in preparation of test reports
  • Maintain records of testing equipment inventory, coordinate scheduled maintenance and calibration as required
  • Report daily update on the ongoing testing schedule for all projects
  • Gather, analyze and report meaningful performance data for various investigations;
  • Driving to various site locations with own or company vehicle;
  • Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Assist the concrete lab with reporting or supplemental site testing and reviews as may be required, and
  • Other duties as may be required from time to time

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of post-secondary education in related field - Building/Construction Technology, or a construction-related discipline;
  • Experience with field or lab testing of window and railing systems would be considered an asset;
  • Health & Safety training requirements in construction projects would be considered an asset;
  • Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance is required as the position requires field work.  
  • Must be able to lift/move heavy equipment;
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
