Are you a person who stares at buildings and marvels not at the exterior but rather you wonder what the structure looks like under all that concrete, steel, glass and brick?   You’re also the person who actually understands words like “shear, bending, cross-sections and seismic loads”, right?  Of course, you are. You’ve been doing this for 5+ years now and you know you like it.  As a member of our Structural group, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating Revit to build 3D model and 2D reinforcing plans, generating sections and details at different phases for varies project including reinforced concrete, steel, wood and masonry buildings;
  • Using AutoCAD and PDF editor software to assist engineers with developing plans, sections and details for new and renovated projects including reinforced concrete, steel, wood and masonry buildings;
  • Supporting the development and interpretation of standards details; and
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Completion of a diploma in Civil Engineering from a post-secondary institution;
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, particularly Word and Excel);
  • Over 5 years’ experience working within a consulting environment;
  • At least 3 years’ experience with Revit on modelling;
  • Over 5 experience with AutoCAD;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
  • Strong collaborations, analytical, organization and time management skills;
  • Ability to think independently and creatively to identify any issues and raise concerns to engineers.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
