As a member of our Contract Administration Group, you will be responsible for office duties and field inspection assignments as necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Providing office administration support;
  • Maintaining payment verification records;
  • Reviewing and understanding relevant OPSS and contract special provisions;
  • Performing all duties described in the Ministry’s Inspection and Task Manual regarding office administration;
  • Inspecting construction operations from time to time to ensure compliance with contract documents;
  • Interpreting requirements and details of contract drawings and specifications;
  • Verifying quantities, preparing progress reports and maintaining documentation; and
  • Liaising with contractors and staff.



  • Completion of a College diploma in Civil Engineering with OACETT designation as a rcsi;
  • Prior experience as an Office Administrator for a full construction season on at least 2 or more similar MTO projects with at least 1 having had a value of at least $5,000,000;
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and attention to detail skills;
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance;
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to site locations within the area;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance; and
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to site locations within the area.
