DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Manager, Geotechnical, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for providing technical support to our Woodbridge based office. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Managers with various tasks;
  • Typing, editing, reviewing and saving technical reports;
  • Coordinating proposal submissions, including preparation, formatting, etc.;
  • Organizing documents in the correct job folder;
  • Preparing invoices for the Geotechnical department;
  • Supporting Division Managers with financial metrics;
  • Regularly updating corporate resumes;
  • Providing miscellaneous word processing support for general correspondence and other materials;
  • Responding to client’s calls and provide the required reports; and
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering);
  • Some related field experience preferred;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to respond to changing priorities and handling multiple tasks to support a large number of technical staff and managers;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Ability to carry out detail-oriented tasks accurately and independently;
  • Highly proficient on computer software application including MS Word, Outlook and Excel;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Willingness to work in a team environment, assisting team members and contributing to the overall objectives of the team;
  • Ability to handle pressure during tight scheduled and busy season; and
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
